Lincolns Superstar (1:56.6), a half-sister to Bromac Lodge mare Lincolns Keepsake (1:59.1, four wins from only 15 starts) and sister to top pacer Sir Lincoln (1:54, 21 wins & $663,601), was back in winning form at Penrith, NSW, on Thursday, April 5.

Lincolns Keepsake, by Rocknroll Hanover and in her first season at stud, is currently in foal to the Bettor's Delight sire Betting Line (p3, 1:47.2f), is currently on the market.

The big draw in the pedigree is Sir Lincoln, who overcame the outside of the second row to win the 2009 Gr. 1 NRM Sires Stakes 3YO Final at Addington and also won the 2010 Harness Jewels 3YO Emerald in 1:54.5, then capped his career by taking out the 2012 Gr.1 Auckland Cup, beating subsequent triple NZ Cup winner, Terror To Love.

Lincolns Superstar led throughout from the two gate for trainer-driver Ashlee Grives and was too slick over the final lap.

The Mach Three mare, a $3.20 second favourite, fought off $2.30 favourite Jimison, who moved up parked, by 2.4 metres in a 2:00 rate for the mobile 2125m, quickening over her last 800m in 56.9s.

This was the sixth win in 31 starts for Lincolns Superstar, taking her earnings to $48,360.

Lincolns Superstar is also a sister to other useful winners in winners Lord Lincoln (1:55.9, Aust, 11 wins & $44,756), Lincolns Megastar (1:57.1, 6 wins & $64,948).
