Pow Wow Bromac, the first winner for Parfait Bromac (Artsplace-Pascale Bromac), edged past the $40,000 in earnings at Shepparton, Victoria, on Friday, April 6.

The 5YO Rocknroll Hanover gelding was too good after trailing in the $10,000 C4-5 mobile pace, then moving out to take control turning for home.

Pow Wow Bromac, driven by Lisa Bartley for trainer Isabel Walsh, held Willem by a neck in a 1:57.8 rate for the 2190m for his seventh win in 31 starts.

He has a career best mile rate of 1:55.9, set when also winning at Shepparton last June over a 1690m trip.

Bromac Lodge is currently offering Parfait Bromac for sale.

She is carrying a sister or brother to Pow Wow Bromac, being in foal to Rocknroll Hanover.

Bromac Lodge also have her He's Watching weanling colt foal for sale.

Parfait Bromac, who was retired after only two starts, is a daughter of former NZ 2YO filly record holder, Pascale Bromac (1:57.1, 6 wins & $96,193).

Pascale Bromac (Holmes Hanover-Desiblue) numbered wins in the Gr. 2 Nevele R Stakes and a NZ Sires Stakes 2YO Fillies heat, was the runner-up in a Great Northern Oaks, third in the NZ 2YO Sires Stakes Fillies Championship, third in the Gr. 2 NZ Welcomes Stakes against the boys, and also ran a third in the Gr. 2 Queen Of Hearts for mares at Auckland for trainer Paul Kerr.

Parfait Bromac is a half-sister to the good NZ and Victorian winner Pepe Bromac (1:54.3, 11 wins from 46 starts for $101,933).

Her third dam Desiblue is an unraced half-sister to Zedechias (8 NZ wins, 1:54.2, US) and is from the same family as former top 1990s 4YO Pacer of the Year Abdias (1:55, 30 wins, former NZ mile record holder), Dalton Bromac (1:52, Can, 12 wins & $132,803), and former champion mare and 1981 NZ Harness Horse of the Year, Delightful Lady (1:58.7, 47 wins & $476,250).
