Zion Bromac (3g Courage Under Fire-Zante Beach) kept the line of his Fake Left dam bubbling with a smart win over his more fancied stablemates at Addington on Easter Saturday.
Hot the heels of close relative Glenledi Babe's Bathurst Gold Tiara Heat win and Gr. 1 second in the $100,000 Gold Tiara 2YO Fillies Final on March 31, Zion Bromac overcame a wide gate in the rating 40-55 Hydroflow Mobile Pace at Addington.
The third favourite of the Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen-trained stablemates, Zion Bromac was driven positively by Nathan Purdon, heading to the front.
In another All Stars domination, Zion Bromac held strongly by 1 1/2 lengths over Turn It Up and Mach Up in 3:13.4 (1:59.6, mile rate) over the mobile 2600m, picking up the speed over his last 800m in 55.6s.
