Braeview Bomber, who won his 12th race in Australia last weekend, is from the same family as Lot 46, Zeuss Bromac (Bettor's Delight-Zeta Bromac colt), being offered at the Australasian Classic Yearling Sale at Karaka on Monday.

A Courage Under Fire gelding from Braeview Express (Badlands Hanover-Gemfire), Braeview Bomber became the latest $100,000 earner from the family when taking out the Ubet Claiming Pace at Globe Derby, Adelaide, last Saturday night.

Now seven, Braeview Bomber overcame a second row draw and rated 1:56.5 for the 1800m for an upset six-metre win, taking his career earnings to ,199.

His fastest winning mile rate is a 1:55.8 effort on a half-mile track over 2130m at Gloucester Park in Perth in October, 2016.

He’ll try for back-to-back South Australian wins in the Gawler Cup on Saturday night (February 10).

Braeview Bomber is a brother to Dont Hold Back, who defeated Shadow Sax in the Group 2 Australasian Breeders Crown 4YO colts and geldings Pacing Final at Melton in August.

Dont Hold Back, who was spelled after his Breeders Crown victory, showed early juvenile brilliance, rating a fast 1:53.7 over 1720m at his second career start at Melton.

He was the runnerup at his fifth start in the South Australian Derby and ran third to Lazarus and Three Ways in the 2016 Victoria Derby.

Dont Hold Back, also a winner of the Group 1 $115,000 Vicbred Super Series 3YO colts and geldings Final at three, has won 12 of 32 starts for $213,435.

Machiatto (1:57.2), a winner of nine of 30 starts, is a successful year younger Mach Three half-brother to Dont Hold Back, and half-brother to Braeview Bomber.

Zante Beach (1:59), the successful producing Fake Left-Gemfire half-sister to Braeview Express (dam of Dont Hold Back, Braeview Bomber and Machiatto), is the Bromac Lodge-owned dam of Zeta Bromac (p3, 1:55.5), who won five and was three times placed in only nine starts.

Zuess Bromac, being offered at Karaka by Bromac Lodge and Slingsby Holdings Ltd, is Zeta Bromac's first live foal.

His grand-dam Zante Beach, who won 15 races & $115,160, including a NSW Bathurst 2YO Gold Tiara Consolation, is also the dam of (My) Zach Bromac (1:52h, USA, 15 wins & over $95,292), Zorro Bromac (1:56.6, Aust, nine wins & $51,354) and Zion Bromac, a three-year-old winner this term and once second in four starts for the Allstars Stable.

She's also the dam of the unraced Zoe Bromac, the dam of good Tasmanian winner Zumba Bromac (1:58.1, eight wins & $54,617).

Gemfire, the dam of Zante Beach and grand-dam of both Zeta Bromac and Dont Hold Back, was another good Victorian racemare, winning 13 races and $109,916 including the 1994 G1 Edgar Tatlow 2YO Fillies Stakes.

She's the dam of eight individual winners including big-winning Garnet River (half-brother to Zante Beach and Braeview Express), who won a Tasmanian Derby and has a 1:50 record in the USA, winning 33 races combined in Australia and North America for ,822.

This is also the family of The Godine Machine (1:58.4 14 wins & ,295 including the G2 2003 NSW Tatlow 2Y0 Stakes), Ric Flair (seven wins), Godines Gem (1:58.8, six wins) and Western Blaze (1:55.8, 17 wins & ,161)
