Courage Under Fire, who can be bred from with frozen semen straws available through Bromac Lodge proprietor Bob McArdle, sired a winning treble at Pinjarra, West Australia, on Monday, December 18.
"Courage", who has made a significant impact as a sire, leaving 2016 Inter Dominion Pacing Grand Final champion Smolda (1:50.5), kicked off the programme leaving 3YO winner Kohli (from Elegant Eyes, by Safely Kept), for the Bryan Cousins stable.
Kohi, driven by Kim Prentice, finished best from the third line to win in a 2:01.5 rate for the mobile 2185m.
Courage Under Fire also sired the second race winner Courageous Disco (4g Courage Under Fire-Elite Disco, by Presidential Ball), who led from the three gate in a C0 pace for Morgan Woodley and held in a 2:02 rate 2185m.
His third winner was Carte Blanche (6g Courage Under Fire-Hello Boys, by Crouch), who finished best for Debra and Chris Lewis.
Carte Blanche rated 1:57.4 for the 1684m in a C3 pace.
Meanwhile, Courage To Live (4g Courage Under Fire-Lindy Loch) furthered the good week for Courage Under Fire in West Australia at Bunbury on Tuesday.
Trained by Justin Prentice, Courage To Love pressed to the front and rated 1:59.4 for the 2100m for his sixth win in 18 starts.
Superband (5g Courage Under Fire-Madam Narryna) was another "Courage" Tuesday winner, taking out a C1 pace at Swan Hill, Victoria, in a 2:01.5 rate over 2240m.
Courage Under Fire is available in 2018 for $4000 (plus GST), payable on a live foal basis.
The straws will be sent to Alabar, Auckland, and Wai Eyre Farm, North Canterbury.
