Habibi Inta's impressive win in the Listed $40,000 Haras des Trotteurs Sires Stakes Aged Trotters Classic at Addington on Friday May 11 has taken his earnings past the $100,000 mark.

His three-quarter weanling blood brother, by Love You from the unraced Habibti Sadie (Pegasus Spur-Ten To One), is available for purchase from Bromac Lodge for $20,000, excluding GST.

The weanling colt is also a three-quarter blood brother to the top trot mares Habibti (1:56.5) and Habibti Ivy (1:58.4), and also good gelding winner Lothario (1:57.4, six wins & $69,302).

Habibi Inta (2:00.9), now a winner of seven from 23 starts for $112,917, becomes the fourth $100k winner for his top Sundon producing dam Ten To One, herself a winer of six and $54,142 when prepared by the late Swannanoa trainer, Dick Petrie.

Ten To One's other $100,000-plus winners are Habibti (16 wins & $352,775), the 2012 and 2013 NZ 2 and 3YO Trotting Filly of the Year, and also the 2013 Australian Trotting Filly of the Year; Habibti Ivy (nine wins form 21 starts for $186,340), a three-time NZ mares record holder; and consistent Queensland winner Releven Dream (1:57.3, 16 wins & $109,156), the latter by Dream Vacation.

Ten To One's six foals to race are all winners.

She's also the dam of the lightly-raced Ten Too (seven wins and three seconds from only 17 starts), while her second foal Gabrielli qualified trotting but died before racing.

Habibi Inta continues to fashion a strong career for Brookside trainer Paul Nairn.

At two, he was a winner of the Group Three NZ 2YO Trotting Stakes and ran third in the Harness Jewels 2YO Trot Ruby.

At three, he was the runner-up to Enghien in the 2017 Northern Trotting Derby.

He's gone from strength-to-strength in his four-year-old racing, with last Friday's win being his fourth in his last six starts.

The Love You entire again stepped well off a and despite a 20m handicap, settled sixth after the opening 400m.

Shuffled four back on the outer, driver Blair Orange sent him on a winning wide beginning the final 800m.

Habibi Inta ran to a clear lead at the 500m and kept going strongly, holding by 1 and 3/4 lengths from late finisher Izmok in 3:20.5 (2600m).
