Simba Bromac, the 4YO Art Official half-brother to maiden Bromac Lodge mare Skye Bromac (Shadow Play-Sabrina Bromac), notched back-to-back West Australian wins on Saturday, April 28.

In the process, Simba Bromac was recording his 10th win in West Australia from 14 starts, having finished second in three of his other four starts in the West.

Simba Bromac, who won his maiden in Victoria, has now won 12 of 21 starts, for $57,000 in stakes.

He raced wide early from the second row, moving up parked as a $1.70 favourite at Narrogin on Saturday night.

Simba Bromac cleared out to win by 11.3 metres in a 1:59.2 rate for the 2242m.

He's the latest multiple winner for former Bromac Lodge broodmare gem Sabrina Bromac, who was recently sold to NSW buyer Jake Stockton.

Sabrina Bromac has nine individual winners from her first nine to race, all in 1:58 or faster, while her 10th to race, Shamrock Bromac, finished midfield at his only 2YO start this term for West Melton trainer Geoff Dunn.

Her progeny have won 147 races for $1.45 million in stakes.

Sabrina Bromac's other winners include Slick Bromac (1:57.3, 33 wins and $256,107), Smudge Bromac (1:53.2, 36 wins and $460,958), Seshny Bromac (1:53.9, 12 wins and $124,554), Ardle McArdle (1:53.3, 28 wins and $280,014), Shakti Bromac (1:55.1, 14 wins and $118,457), Tuscan Breeze (1:56, 12 wins and $88,311), Spike Bromac (1:54.7, 9 wins and $65,295) and minor NZ winner Sherlock Bromac (one win, $3738).

Skye Bromac, her unraced three-year-old daughter, is in foal to highly rated USA import, Sweet Lou (1:47).

This is the family of top Australasian filly/mare (A) Piccadilly Princess (1:50.4, 16 wins from 47 starts and $709,342), Saveapatrol (11 wins from 18 pacing starts for $145,618, 3rd Auckland Cup), Rondel Franco (1:51.6 US, 35 wins and $684,003), Ok Royal (1:53.6, NZ Messenger), Sovereign (6 wins incl. 1979 NZ Derby).

Skye Bromac's fifth dam is the former top 1970s NZ racemare, Royal Belmer, who won 12 for the late Weedons trainer Jack Smolenski including the 1973 NZ Standardbred Breeders Stakes.
