SIMBA BROMAC RUNS FAST 1:52.8 RATE IN PERTH

Simba Bromac continued his purple patch of late 4YO form by reducing his fastest mark to a 1:52.8 rate over 1730m at Gloucester Park, Perth, on Friday, July 20.
The Art Official gelding from former Bromac Lodge gem Sabrina Bromac led throughout as a $1.10 favourite from the two gate in the Garrards Horse & Hound Open Pace.
Driver Chris Lewis and Simba Bromac cleared out by 10.5 metres, giving their rivals no chance as he sped in over his last 800m in 55.3s and the closing 400m in 27.8s.
Simba Bromac, raced by Karl Deiley and trained by Nathan Turvey, was notching is sixth win in his last eight starts.
His career record now stands at 27 starts for 16 wins, five seconds, and three thirds, for over $80,000 in stakes.
His outstanding autumn-winter run is timely for New South Wales horseman Jake Stockton, who purchased Sabrina Bromac (Live Or Die-Soho) from Bromac Lodge during the recently concluded Bromac Lodge disperal sale.
Skye Bromac, a 3YO Shadow Play filly from Sabrina Bromac, has also found a new home in recent months.
Sabrina Bromac is the dam of nine individual winners from her first nine to race, while the 10th to race, Shamrock Bromac, has been twice third in five 2YO starts this term.
