TULLOW N, SON OF TESSA BROMAC FLYING HIGH IN USA

Tullow, a Mach Three son of Tessa Bromac (Mystical Shark – Tanisa Vance) continues to win in North America, the eight-year-old gelding securing win six of the year in taking out an open mile at Batavia Downs, New York, on Saturday night.
Tullow was some way off his best time in the States, having previously registered a 1:50.4 mile time.
Unbelievably, he was winless in New Zealand from 11 starts before being exported, but raced well for the Bernie Hackett and Michelle Wallis stable, placing in three starts in some strong maiden races at the time.
Second dam Tanisa Vance left big winners Kotare Jaeger (10 wins, 8 NZ), and former rugged North Canterbury stayer Ross The Boss (10 NZ wins), later exported to America.
Other very handy performers from Tanisa Vance were Habeebee (exported to USA), and Tallyho Bromac (23 wins, 54 placings AUS), a tough-as-teak Falcon Seelster son.
