ZEUSS BROMAC TO PAUL FITZPATRICK

Trainer-driver Zachary Butcher has sold his shareholding in top colt Zeuss Bromac and the speedy son of Bettor’s Delight and Mach Three mare Zeta Bromac has joined the New South Wales stable of Paul Fitzpatrick to do his future racing.
Butcher was thrilled with the smart colt in his first trip offshore when he placed in both a heat and semi-final of the Crown before finishing a brave fourth in the final behind Australasia’s best three-year-old Be Happy Mach who went through the series unbeaten for Emma Stewart and driver Chris Alford.
“I have sold my share and he joined Paul after the Breeders Crown,” said Butcher.
Though disappointing in respect of not having the horse to train and drive any longer, Butcher is philosophical given financially it was a good move for him in securing his future.
Zeuss Bromac has raced just six times, three in New Zealand where he placed in the Harness Jewels at Addington in June, before winning his maiden at Alexandra Park, then headed to the Breeders Crown heats and finals in Victoria.
